Zipporah was named for the daughter of Captain Irvington, the founding father of Irvington, Virginia. The home dates to the late 1800s but was completely remodeled in 2003. Zipporah features an open floor plan perfect for entertaining or family living. Many weddings have been held here, due to the spectacular location, and the home has been photographed extensively for a number of publications, including Coastal Living.
The home sits on a double lot at the entrance to Carter's Creek and offers expansive views across the Rappahannock River. It is approximately seven miles downriver to the Chesapeake Bay. It features a 70 foot dock with 7 foot depth, a boat lift and plenty of slip space.
